New Features of Sage 100 Payroll 2.0

Sage has been working to redo Sage 100 Payroll. It is being called Sage 100 Payroll 2.0 and should be ready for release with Sage 100 2018. This revamp includes moving Sage 100 Payroll to the new Business Framework, which will allow for more features and capabilities.

Sage recently release a few videos that offer a sneak peak.

Payroll Setup 

This video highlights the new payroll setup functions including the ability to process the next payroll quarter without closing the previous, better tab organization, the option to turn on features that match your business needs and more.

Employee Maintenance

This video highlights the new features of Sage 100 Payroll 2.0 Employee Maintenance including expanded employee name fields, added fields, new medical coverage fields, and up to 9 separate pay rates.

Payroll Setup Wizard

Sage 100 Payroll 2.0 includes a setup wizard that takes you step by step through a series of questions to help you get payroll up and running as well as customized to your business.

Payroll Data Entry

In Sage 100 Payroll 2.0, payroll data entry will be improved with new features such as new options for pay cycle, enhanced date controls, a hyperlink to access employee maintenance fields, enhanced payroll memos and more.
