Acumatica 6 is Released

Acumatica 6 includes many new features. Below are a few highly anticipated ones.

Integrated CRM – Acumatica now has a Microsoft Outlook Add-in.

The add-in allows customers to view details on lead and contact records that already exist in Acumatica ERP. It also allows users to create new leads and contacts inside of Microsoft Outlook and customize the appearance of the Acumatica ribbon button to match company branding.

Dashboards with a large selection of visualizations and pivot tables and Microsoft Power BI:

In Acumatica 6, dashboards are more convenient to add, manage and configure. Widgets are easier to configure on dashboards, even from mobile devices. This release makes Acumatica the first ERP to support embedded Microsoft Power BI components and to include a Microsoft Outlook Add-in.

New Contract-based REST API:

Acumatica 6 also introduces a new, contract-based representational state transfer (REST) application programming interface (API), which uses the same endpoints and contracts as the contract-based Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) API introduced in Acumatica ERP 5.3. The REST API makes it very easy to create and test requests directly from a web browser without the custom libraries or special wrappers required for the SOAP API.

Acumatica ERP delivers adaptable cloud and mobile technology with a unique, all-inclusive user licensing model, enabling customers to obtain a complete, real-time view of their business anytime, anywhere. Through its worldwide network of partners, Acumatica provides a full suite of integrated business management applications, including Financials, Distribution, Manufacturing, Project Accounting and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
