Microsoft Announces Availability of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 R2

Microsoft Announces Availability of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 R2

As of June 1st, Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 R2 is available. With this release, the new Self-Serve User CAL will have its own unlocking that is enforced within the Microsoft Dynamics GP product. Instead of customers getting ‘limited users,’ they will now appear as Self-Serve User CAL. Those who have already deployed the Self-Serve User CAL in their Dynamics GP 2015 will need to upgrade to R2 as soon as possible.

Please note that the upgrade to Dynamics GP 2015 R2 is similar to a service pack update – it is not a major product version upgrade.

Customers on Dynamics GP 2015, who have not implemented Self-Serve User CAL, can continue to use Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 if they prefer. However, it is recommended that customers stay current and move to Dynamics GP 2015 R2 at their convenience.

For questions or information on how to upgrade, contact your Martin & Associates GP representative.
