Surface Pro for Windows 8 – releasing February 9th

Microsoft announces today the release date for the Surface Pro – 2/9/13.  The following short 1.5 minute video on youtube does a great job showing why I like this new Surface and I am looking forward to getting one.

  • Dual purpose charger
  • Intel Processor
  • HDMI monitor port for home/desk
  • Microsoft Apps store
  • Ability to install any Windows 7 compatable applications (okay – this is the number one reason)
  • 128GB solid state storage/drive (okay – this is the 2nd best)
  • USB 3.0 port
  • The great features of the Surface RT (3rd best reason)
  • 4+ hour battery life

$1,099 gets you the keyboard and 128GB model – in essence a dual machine – a tablet and an ultra-book!  This will redefine what type of work (and play) you can take on the go (either in the office or out).

March 7th and March 21st – two user group events for our clients, prospects and friends are coming up

  • March 7th – at Microsoft’s Mason office – Windows 8, Server Essential and Multipont – and the Surface Pro
  • March 21st – March Madness User Group – for Sage 100 ERP and Microsoft Dynamics GP

Come and learn more (and have lunch)!
